He maha ngā kōrero pai ki roto i tēnei pukapuka. He kōrero mo tētahi whare rākau, mo te hararei i runga i te waka nui, he maha hoki ngā mea.

(This is a story collection that Rūma Kōtuku made. There are a lot of interesting stories in this book. There is a story about a tree house, a story about a holiday on big boat and a lot of other stories).

Ka hīkoi ngā tēina ki te māra kai. He tino pai taua rā mō Rūma Kōtuku.

(The tēina from our class went to the garden and then made cool pictures of the caterpillars. It was a good day for Rūma Kōtuku).
